WIU ProTech / UPI Chapter
OFFICES to be ELECTED

From the UPI Constitution: "The officers of each chapter shall include but not be restricted to a chapter president, chapter vice-president and a treasurer. Chapter officers shall be elected by the membership of each chapter to a three-year term of office at the same time as election of the local officers."

Term of Office for all Positions -- 3 Years


WIU-PT / UPI CHAPTER PRESIDENT

Job Description -- To call and run chapter meetings. To represent the chapter at the UPI executive board meeting.

Time Commitment -- Varied. Minimum 12 days for Executive Board meetings

Compensation -- None. Time off with pay if related to administration of contract. Reimbursement of expenses.

WIU-PT / UPI SECRETARY

Job Description  -- To keep records of chapter meetings. If capable, to update web page.

Time Commitment -- Minimal. 3 to 4 hours related to meetings.

Compensation -- None. Reimbursement of expenses.

WIU-PT / UPI VICE-PRESIDENT

Job Description -- To fulfill the duties of the chapter president in his / her absence.

Time Commitment -- Minimal.

Compensation -- None. Reimbursement of expenses.

WIU-PT / UPI TREASURER

Job Description -- Maintain account of the Chapter.

Time Commitment -- Approximately 6 hours per year plus 1 or 2 days for meeting with Local 4100 for training.

Compensation -- None. Reimbursement of expenses.

HOUSE OF DELEGATES MEMBERS (1 Slot Available)

Brief Job Description -- Represent the chapter at the House of Delegates.

Time Commitment -- One weekend to attend HOD meeting. Also 1 meeting minimum to discuss issues for HOD.

Compensation -- Reimbursement of expenses to attend HOD meeting.
