Creation of Academic Support Professionals Task Force

WHEREAS it has become more difficult, since the dissolution of the BGU system, for Academic Support Professionals to keep apprised of developments on other campuses within UPI; and

WHEREAS it is important that we maintain open lines of communication so that we may be aware of developments, policies and activities on all the campuses;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that UPI will create a task force for Academic Support Professionals, which will meet at least once per semester to discuss policies, activities, and contract issues relating to Academic Support Professionals. There will be two representatives from each campus. The local shall schedule such meetings with regard to Academic Support ProfessionalsÕ duties and commitments.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that each chapter is encouraged to create a comparable task force.
